Today was a good penny finding day.
On my way into work, I risked my life picking up a penny. I was crossing Front Street when I notice a penny on the road, in front of the Loose Moose on Front street. The 1997 Penny was about a foot from the sidewalk, waiting to be rescued from oncoming traffic.
Then, while on my daily lunch time walk, I found a penny on the corner of King and John Street. It was on the sidewalk near the garbage can on the south-east corner. Although I know it's a penny, its year is a mystery. This coin has seen better days - it's covered in city grime and looks like it's been stomped on many times, maybe even run over by city roller-bladers.
